Anything For Love The Bradens and Montgomerys Pleasant Hill Oak Falls Book 2 eBook Melissa Foster
I love love LOVE Beau and Charlotte! This story is all sorts of flirty, sexy fun! Between blow-up dolls, runaway chickens, interrupted truck make-out sessions (which was totally hot, btw!), and the haphazard dreamscape tent-thing, I was rolling with laughter!! Alongside the fun times, the story is laced with serious heart-to-heart conversations about lost loves and heartache as well as moments of pure love. Beau didn't quite know what to make of this tiny, fairytale believer who ate next to nothing and lived alone. He carries a lot of guilt and is excellent at dodging questions and changing subjects. Char was a little relentless at getting Beau to open up, even if it was under the guise of her needing a muse. And he did. He opened up and fell totally in love! (I think he was done for when he watched the solo Madonna panties concert!) It's not that he needed fixing...he needed her."...what we want isn’t always what we need.”
“That’s funny, I was just thinking that, for the first time in forever, what I want might be exactly what I need.”
The writing is phenomenal. You're right there. You can feel what they feel. I found myself making the same faces as the characters and sighing at all the best parts. I cheered for them from the moment he peered down the hallway waiting for an angry boyfriend to appear. Haha! And when she wolfs down the entire burger? I high-fived her!
For reals people, this will be your new favorite feel-good, happy read!

Anything For Love The Bradens and Montgomerys Pleasant Hill Oak Falls Book 2 eBook Melissa Foster Reviews
This story will have you laughing like you never have before. Charlotte and Beau have a great chemistry together that really comes across. Melissa really makes you feel like you are right there in the middle of things. The descriptions of things has you feeling like you are in a Disney setting while chasing after Chickendales.
You first meet Charlotte in Josh and Riley's wedding story, Fast forward almost two years and Beau Braden comes out to repair the damage the Braden girls created while staying there for Josh and Riley's wedding. I thought it was kind of weird that it took Beau almost two years to come out and fix the damage his cousins created.
The story was narrated by a male and female narrator which is not my favorite. You had the male narrator voicing male and female parts and the female doing the same. I would have liked to have the male narrator do the male parts and female do the female parts but I am sure that is not as easy as it sounds. Regardless this is a story that you must read or listen to. You will fall in love and have some good laughs.
I am not what one would consider a girly-girl. Never really have been. I didn’t have Barbies and didn’t really want them. I enjoyed playing with my cousin’s once in a while, but usually I preferred my stuffed animals or (even better) my Tonka trucks. Pink is my least favorite color, followed closely by purple. I never went through a Disney Princess phase like many young girls, but I have always absolutely loved Disney movies. Still, I was surprised by how much Charlotte’s fantastical dreams caught my attention. It’s almost as if she’s the anti-me, but I guess at heart all (most) women are still suckers for the fairytale.
What better hero to make a heroine’s fairytale come true than one of the Braden boys? Beau is all you would expect from the men in that family. Rough, rugged, protective, gorgeous, kind, loving, and all smooshy on the inside. It’s partly due to his sense of honor and his protective nature that he carries such a huge burden of guilt about the death of his first love. Charlotte is so wonderful with slowly bringing Beau out of his self-imposed exile from real love without being pushy.
Charlotte has all but given up on love and sequesters herself up in her family’s old inn to write by herself day in and day out. Rarely does she venture into town or have much human interaction beside the phone calls to her best gal pals. How can any real life man measure up to the fantasies she creates in her erotic fiction writing? How can any relationship live up to those she saw between her parents and grandparents? Beau is the perfect foil for her self-imposed ban on relationships because he understands her need to write and immerse herself in her fictional world, but he’s also able to show her that real life can be just as fantastic, if not even better, than her stories.
These two are truly meant for each other. Watching them both grow emotionally throughout this story was a beautiful thing. Although the book takes place over less than 2 months, it still seemed to happen so naturally with Charlotte and Beau.
In this story, we get a huge introduction to the LWW.
I have been eagerly awaiting this book since we met Charlotte Sterling back in Story of Love; this book was everything I was waiting for and more. From the moment Beau Braden walked into Sterling House and thought he was ‘interrupting’ something in Charlotte’s office to the blow up doll handcuffed to the bed and the Chickendales (totally loved that) and everything in between, this book had it all. Learning about both Charlotte’s and Beau’s pasts was heartbreaking but it molded them into who they are and I’m glad Beau, even with his guilt, let Charlotte in. I loved all the updates from our favorite characters and all the new additions. I also enjoyed the dreamscape and the jars, Bad Thoughts, To Do’s and Hopes and Dreams, something right up Charlotte’s alley. The ending was perfect and just as it should have been for our fairy tale loving Charlotte. AMAZING BOOK!
